Terms of Service
Terms governing SpeechGen AI accounts, text-to-speech generation, credits, payments, licenses, and acceptable use.
Last updated: 2026-07-10
The service
SpeechGen AI converts text supplied by users into synthetic speech. It does not write speeches, verify ownership of submitted text, or guarantee that every word, name, or language will be pronounced as expected.
Your content and rights
You retain rights you already hold in submitted text and generated output. You must have all permissions needed to submit, process, publish, and commercially use the content. You grant us and our providers the limited right to process it only as needed to operate the service.
Voice and acceptable use
You may not use the service for fraud, impersonation, harassment, deceptive political content, unauthorized celebrity or character imitation, bypassing voice authentication, or other unlawful activity. Voice cloning is permitted only for your own voice or a speaker who has explicitly authorized the cloning and intended use. The Voice Use Policy is incorporated into these Terms.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for your account credentials and activity. Do not share access in a way that defeats plan limits, rate limits, or security controls. We may suspend requests or accounts that create risk, violate policy, or threaten service availability.
Credits, subscriptions, and payment
Paid generations consume character credits. Subscription or purchased credits are granted only after a verified payment webhook. Failed provider generations are eligible for automatic credit reversal when the task system recorded a deduction. Prices, allowances, validity periods, and concurrency can change for future purchases with notice.
Refunds and cancellation
Subscription cancellation stops future renewal but does not automatically refund the current period. Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy. Chargebacks or payment disputes may suspend related credits while investigated.
Availability and liability
AI output can contain pronunciation, pacing, or quality errors. Review every result before publication or operational use. The service is provided on an as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law, without a guarantee of uninterrupted access or fitness for a particular purpose.
