How SpeechGen AI handles account data, text-to-speech requests, generated audio, payments, and service logs.

Information we collect

We collect account details you provide, subscription and character-credit records, support messages, and technical request data such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and security events. Payment card details are handled by the selected payment provider and are not stored in full by us.

Text-to-speech requests

Text, selected voice, language, speed, and output format are sent to our server and then to the configured text-to-speech provider only to generate the requested audio. Provider credentials stay on the server. Authenticated task logs omit the original text and retain operational metadata such as character count, model, voice, status, elapsed time, and estimated cost.

Generated audio and retention

Guest generations are returned directly to the browser as private, non-cacheable responses. For signed-in users, generated audio may be retained for the configured history window (60 minutes by default) and is streamed only after verifying ownership of the task. Uploaded voice-cloning samples are not written to task history. Production object storage should use a matching lifecycle rule so inaccessible, expired audio is deleted rather than accumulating.

How we use information

We use information to provide the service, enforce allowances and security limits, process payments, maintain account history, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

We may share the minimum required data with infrastructure, authentication, payment, email, storage, analytics, and AI service providers. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose data when required by law or needed to protect users and the service.

Your choices and rights

You can update account information and request access, correction, export, or deletion where applicable. Some transaction, security, or compliance records may need to be retained for a legally required period.
